Translindo’s Outing: Unforgettable Bali Gateaway

From May 29 to June 1 2025, our teams from Translindo Surabaya and Semarang packed their bags, left their desks behind, and set off on an unforgettable trip to reconnect, recharge, and rekindle the spirit of unity that drives the company forward. More than a gateaway, this trip was also a reminder that “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

As part of Translindo’s annual company outing, this four-day retreat in Bali was a reflection of what the company truly values: a supportive and enjoyable work culture, where hard work is celebrated with exciting opportunities for relaxation and team building. This shared experience aimed to strengthen bonds, deepen collaboration, and reaffirm how teamwork is the foundation of our continued success.

Day One: Ready, Set, Raft!

The team kicked off  with an adrenaline-pumping rafting session. Nothing brings people together like navigating rapids and laughing through the splashes. The excitement was contagious as teams paddled down Bali’s scenic rivers, cheering each other on and getting drenched. This thrilling activity subtly reinforced the importance of teamwork and communication, reflecting the collaborative spirit of Translindo in its daily operations.

Day Two:  Snorkeling in Nusa Penida

After the river came the reef. The following day, the team set sail to the stunning island of Nusa Penida, where turquoise waters and vibrant marine life awaited them. Employees were captivated by the island’s breathtaking beauty, marveling at vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life.  This serene activity allowed everyone to relax, breathe deeply, appreciate the natural wonders of Indonesia, and just enjoy the moment far from the hustle and bustle of their daily routines.

Day Three: Building Bonds with Translindo Bali

Different cities, same spirit. A key highlight of the outing was a dedicated teamwork building session with the Translindo Bali branch. Colleagues who had only exchanged emails were now sitting side-by-side, strengthening the foundation of cross-branch collaboration. This interaction provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues from different cities to connect, share insights, and strengthen inter-branch relationships.

Day Four: The Final Voyage Aboard the Pinisi

The grand finale of the outing was an unforgettable closing event held on a traditional Phinisi boat. As the sun dipped into the Bali sea, employees enjoyed a delightful dinner aboard the elegant vessel. The evening was further enlivened by captivating performances, creating a celebratory atmosphere that was both joyful and reflective of the strong bonds forged throughout the trip. It was the perfect finale, a celebration of togetherness, of shared goals and good times  to carry back into the workplace.

At Translindo, we believe that great work starts with a great work culture and  a happily engaged workforce is the cornerstone of a thriving business. The annual company outing is an investment in employees’ well-being, a recognition of their hard work, and a statement about the importance of a harmonious work-life balance.  By prioritizing such initiatives, we cultivate loyal and dedicated teams, ready to tackle future challenges with renewed energy and a unified spirit.
