Translindo Jakarta Strengthens Team Bonds on Kuala Lumpur Retreat

The familiar rhythm of office life at Translindo Jakarta was exchanged for the vibrant energy of Kuala Lumpur, as the company set out on its annual outing from May 10th to 13th 2025. This leisure break showed Translindo’s commitment to a dynamic and enjoyable work culture, recognizing the importance of shared experiences in supporting a cohesive and motivated team.

Unlike the usual work week, these four days of bonding are filled with cultural exploration and lighthearted adventure, all of which aligned with Translindo’s broader goal of building high-performing teams through memorable experiences beyond the office environment.

Exploring Batu Caves

The itinerary began with a visit to one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic cultural sites, Batu Caves. The imposing golden statue of Lord Murugan and the towering limestone cave made for a dramatic backdrop.  It was a shared experience of awe, setting the tone for the days to come.

Sweet Moments at Beryl’s Chocolate Factory

Next on the agenda was a pilgrimage of a different kind, a delightful dive into the world of cocoa at Beryl’s Chocolate Factory. The sweet aroma of chocolate filled the air as the team explored the factory, learning about the chocolate-making process and indulging in chocolate shopping. This leisurely moment is a perfect opportunity for relaxed conversations and shared enjoyment, far from the pressures of deadlines.

Durian Feast at QQ

The highlight of the trip undoubtedly involved a stop at QQ for a durian feast. The vibrant restaurant, with its nature-themed wall murals and colorful accents, added to the relaxed and informal atmosphere. Laughter and lively discussions filled the air as colleagues bonded over this culinary experience. It was a truly memorable moment of delicious discovery.

City Icons and Street Market

No visit to Kuala Lumpur would be complete without witnessing the grandeur of the iconic Petronas Towers. Standing beneath these gleaming skyscrapers, the team snapping group shots and soaking in the grandeur.

The group also ventured into Pasar Seni, a bustling hub of Malaysian culture, art, and handicrafts that offered a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and scents. Here, employees had the opportunity to pick up unique souvenirs, witness local artistry and lively experience of Kuala Lumpur’s rich heritage.

Translindo’s annual outing is a reflection of Translindo’s vibrant and supportive work culture. As the team boarded the flight back to Jakarta, bags full of souvenirs and chocolates and hearts full of memories, everyone was energized and more connected than ever. By facilitating these opportunities for shared discovery and enjoyment, Translindo actively strengthens bonds among colleagues that ultimately contributes to a more productive and harmonious team.
